Scott Wilcox, Chief Operating Officer at STAUFFER, brings more than 25 years of experience leading technical strategy, operations, and product innovation across multiple industries including fintech, enterprise software, and digital services. Early in his career, Scott helped architect one of the first loan origination platforms for a major national lender, including the company’s first web service for credit reporting. His work contributed to the early standardization of credit data formats used across the financial industry.
Later, as founder and CEO of Red Rock, Scott developed software that revalued distressed loan securities based on underlying borrower data; this technology was used by private equity firms to make smarter, data-driven investment decisions.
At STAUFFER, Scott leads operational strategy, technical project management, and systems optimization, ensuring that teams are aligned and outcomes are measurable. His leadership blends engineering depth with business insight, helping clients and internal teams move quickly without losing sight of long-term goals.
