Brian serves as Creative Director at STAUFFER, where he leads brand, product, and user experience initiatives across a wide range of client engagements. With more than 15 years in the industry, he has worked on brand systems, digital products, campaign strategy, and UX design, developing a comprehensive understanding of how creative direction influences business performance.
Earlier in his career, Brian co-ran a creative consulting firm with his partner. That experience shaped his leadership approach and deepened his appreciation for ownership, accountability, and long-term client relationships. Working closely with founders, marketing leaders, and product teams strengthened his ability to translate creative ambition into structured, executable plans. It also gave him insight into the pressures and expectations clients face when investing in digital work.
Brian has been on every side of the table. He has led creative teams, advised executive stakeholders, and worked directly with clients navigating complex decisions. This perspective allows him to anticipate challenges early and guide teams toward practical solutions that balance innovation with clarity.
Design has always been rooted in people for Brian. While technology continues to accelerate and new tools reshape the landscape, he remains focused on building work that connects clearly and authentically. He believes that as systems become more complex, clarity becomes more valuable.
At STAUFFER, Brian builds teams the same way he approaches design: with intention, trust, and a commitment to alignment. He understands that strong creative output comes from environments where individuals feel supported and confident in their role.
Born and raised in Southern California and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Brian continues to approach his work with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that drew him to design more than a decade ago. Technology moves quickly, but people do not. That belief guides the way he leads, designs, and builds.
