I had just finished a WebEx conference and was thinking to myself how great a product it was. My client was able to share their screen with me to give me concrete examples of what they wanted. It was almost as if I was there with them. Being the open source guy that I am I started thinking to myself, I wonder if there is an open source alternative to WebEx? After a quick search on Goolge I ran across Dim Dim. I tried it out and fell in love. This will finally give me a way to accomplish what used to cost $59/month for Webex. Now can be done for free! Dim Dim is cross-platform. I had no issues presenting from my Mac to a Windows user. From now on I'm going to be using Dim Dim for all my client presentations where I am not able to make it in for a face to face.
