His career began at Deloitte Consulting and since then he has contracted with companies like Toshiba, Nestle, Sony Music, Lexus, Fun Mobility, Fox, Associated Production Music, and InfoSpace where he has been managing mobile content storefronts for cellular phone service companies: Cingular, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Samsung, Dobson, and Rogers.

Jacob PitassiDirector of Engineering
Jacob Pitassi graduated with his B.S. in computer science from California State University, San Bernardino in 2007. After college, he worked for a start-up social networking company, as a software engineer. He then went on to work for Stauffer New Media Development as a developer/consultant and has worked on creating dynamic CMS web systems, e-commerce systems, mobile applications, Facebook applications. He has completed successful engagements with a wide variety of clients, including HBO, Zhuniverse, Universal Pictures, American Airlines and others.

Christopher MillerDirector of Operations
With over ten years of experience within all phases professional web development and expertise serving the needs of non-profit, e-commerce and open source software, Chris Miller brings a wise, steady hand to our team at Stauffer New Media Development.
Chris started his career developing enterprise telecommunications solutions while pitching venture capitalists startup ideas during the first dot-com boom. This led to a partnership with a college friend and a firm in Los Angeles selling diamond engagement rings online. Chris helped architect an aggregation portal for hundreds of wholesale and retail jewelers to offer their merchandise to customers while automatically selecting for the highest quality stones to offer at disruptively low prices.
Chris discovered Drupal right when version 6 was being released, and has been using it as his preferred development platform ever since. He has built and managed dozens of sites for clients leveraging Drupal 6 and 7, integrating it with CRMs such as CiviCRM, Salesforce, SugarCRM, and Salsa.
Some of the clients Chris has worked with include Earth Day Networks, Cornell University, USC, Intel, the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, Interaction, and American Airlines.
With a diverse background of interests, Chris has served as the board of director's president of a non-profit that worked with international students at his alma-mater, UCLA. Chris has also taken roles as an art director in numerous independent films shot in and around Los Angeles.

Programming since childhood, Chris Charlton has mastered many technologies. He has the ability to innovate on any platform, and owns a successful software brand recognized by companies such as Adobe, Acquia, and Apple. Being a regular speaker at industry conferences across the U.S., such as SxSW, NAB (National Association of Broadcasters), Adobe MAX, and DrupalCon.
In his spare time he enjoys being an author and technology community leader. His first book was published in 2007, an industry-first that covered integration between Drupal CMS and rich Internet powered applications, and his Drupal 6 Themes video training series is available online at Lynda.com, and iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch.

Oscar GutierrezSenior Developer
Oscar Gutierrez is a Senior Consultant with extensive experience as a LAMP developer and database management. A graduate from California State University Chico with a B.S. in Computer Science, Oscar started his career with SearchFast Inc as a PHP Developer working on a Pay-Per-Click Bid to Position Ad Delivery System, and Pay-Per-Click Control Panel. After moving on from SearchFast Inc, Oscar came to work for Stauffer Consulting as a LAMP consultant. At Stauffer New Media Development, Oscar started developing solutions for small to medium sized business by using open source solutions such as: osCommerce , SugarCRM, Joomla, and Drupal. As a consultant, Oscar has learned to implement the processes to ensure that projects are completed on schedule fulfilling the client's requirements. Oscar's ability to wear different hats has let him work with companies such as Ignited Minds, OnQ, and Tokyopop as the Senior Developer.

Niels HansenSenior Consultant
Niels Hansen was VP of Technology and Partner at Venice Consulting Group before joining Stauffer Inc as a consultant. He has been developing and architecting Windows and Internet Applications for many high profile clients for the last 15 years. Niels' clients include Fox Sports, Rain Bird, Washington Mutual Bank, All State Insurance,Charles Schwab and American Express as well as several startup companies.
Niels Hansen has been involved in the past as a speaker for Microsoft events including VBITS, Developers Days and Tech*Ed.
Niels is a strong believer in the Agile Software development process and has adapted parts of the process that has made him successful in delivering his projects on time and on Budget.

Kristen CarterQuality Assurance
Kristen Carter has been successfully working in the QA industry for over 6 years. She started out working for Vivendi Universal Games where she tested a number of notable games for PC, X-Box, Playstation, and Nintendo. She was promoted to associate lead within a year where she then helped supervise and manage her team and the test plans. She then moved onto Infospace inc. where she was a lead tester for clients such as Cingular/AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Virgin Mobile. She was placed in charge of delivering the Tony Hawk WAP site as well as a high profile web storefront, Moviso.com, which involved creating test plans based on mock-ups, flow charts and requirements. She now works at Stauffer New Media Development where she ensures the highest quality of product to delivered to the clients through her great attention to detail and thorough testing process.

Jelena KecojevicAccountant
Jelena started her accounting carrier after graduating University of Novi Sad, Serbia in 2001. Before the accounting, Jelena was a successful banker for seven years.
Since 2001 Jelena gained experience in the advertising, entertainment, education, legal and IT industries. She is an owner of Books LA, an Accounting Services Company is West Los Angeles.
Jelena has been a part of the Stauffer New Media Development team since 2009.

Peter JobstSenior Network Engineer
Peter Jobst has been working in the network computing field since 1995. His skills have spanned many technologies and industries throughout the years. Peter is an expert in: Microsoft Server technologies, TCP/IP administration, Linux server technologies, and IT project management. He is a firm believer in teaching technology to all users and helping bridge the communication gap between business owners and technology experts to facilitate better business practices. From 1998 - 1999 Peter helped Sun America Financials migrate all of their Windows 95 clients to Windows 98 and deploy software through out the company. While at Sun America, Peter successfully completed many larger scale deployments and managed Sun America's data center build out and move from Torrance, California, to Woodland Hills, California. This experience helped build methodology to deploy and manage large scale corporate networks. During the boom, Peter then went on to work for Storeactive and Intertainer. Intertainer was a revolutionary video-on-demand company where Peter was hired as a Senior Deployment Engineer for video-on-demand services. Peter was an integral engineer that developed Intertainers video replication methodology that replaced the need for sending out tapes with video content to an internet replication that use sophisticated algorithm to synchronize video content from a master server to 100s of EMC drive arrays that served the video up through Microsoft Media Servers. The technology used during this time in 2000 was far ahead of its time and is only now becoming main stream in the streaming video world.
